Hello everybody,
I'm starting my new journey as a blogger. It is an exciting new start. Even though it's happening because of my classroom task but I decided to write on it regularly to catch thoughts before they fade. I'm Kazi Nafisa Nawal, a woman from Bangladesh, currently studying to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. When I was an undergrad student, I used to search for people's points of view on blogs about different literary pieces, to connect them with mine. I never thought I could also write in here, share my viewpoint with the world. But by doing a class at a university, our teacher taught us how to create accounts, write blogs, and share them. At first, I felt a little shy. How should I write? Do I have to be formal? Should I pin down what I believe, then I remember what George R. R. Martin said. He believes, "A man is but the product of his thoughts; what he thinks, he becomes." So, I should convey what I figured.
My mind always argues with different thoughts and points, but I don't speak up. My heart always whispers, and somewhere in between, words appear. I used to write my thoughts and preserve them in Google Keep. I don’t know if they’re answers or just echoes, but they’ve always helped me breathe. The one thing I believe is that thoughts shape our identities and realities. It protects our memories from vanishing from our hearts. Sometimes a lot of things happen in our lives, but we remain silent and avoid them. I write them and pile them up in my notes. So, now I believe I will, from now on, write in here and express them. I want to write about the kind of thoughts that make me wonder, the questions that don’t demand answers, and the emotions we’re often too polite to admit. We all should write, at least for ourselves.
If you’ve ever felt too much, thought too long, or tried to explain feelings that language barely holds, maybe you’ll find something familiar here. Because we humans feel the same, the joy, pain, happiness, and rage, no matter what it is, it visits us everyone, but maybe in different timelines, in different scenarios.
I believe we all should be right in here, no matter how competent we are in words, we all should express. Writing is a gateway, where emotion meets reason, where the world quiets down, and words begin to speak.
